11:34pm–#Stratford CT–The fire department was called to a residence for odor of gas in a home on 1st Avenue. The fire marshal has requested detectives as they have found a number of open gas cans possibly left behind by a ex spouse according to radio reports. This is all preliminary information prior to detectives arrival and investigation. I’ll contact the police spokesman first thing in the morning.
