The Bridgeport Education Association (BEA) will be gathered with fellow public education supporters for a rally and press conference to discuss how teachers, students, and families are impacted by the current state of affairs in our city.

Earlier Bridgeport Superintendent Carmela Levy-David issued a full apology

“Dear Bridgeport team, I am writing today with deep reflection and humility. Over the past few months, I recognize that my actions and decisions may have caused frustration, concern, and uncertainty among many of you. For that, I sincerely apologize”.
