At 5:43PM Bridgeport ECC received calls of an assault with a dangerous weapon in the 500 block of East Washington Ave. Officers responded finding a male victim stabbed in the upper body. The victim was transported to the hospital. This is an active investigation, we will update you as information comes to light.
