GOVERNOR LAMONT ACTIVATES CONNECTICUT’S EXTREME HOT WEATHER PROTOCOL FOR THE COMING WEEK
Cooling Centers Are Opening and Can be Located by Calling 2-1-1 or Visiting 211ct.org (HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Ned Lamont today announced that due to a weather forecast indicating that Connecticut is about to experience very hot and humid temperatures over the coming days, he is directing Connecticut’s Extreme Hot Weather Protocol to be activated effective at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, and remaining in effect through 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
