Norwalk News: Stalking Arrest On September 7, 2023, Alexander King turned himself in at police headquarters on an active arrest warrant which charged him with Electronic Stalking. The arrest stemmed from an incident reported on July 4, 2023. A victim located a GPS and listening device on the ground next to their vehicle in a residential driveway. The victim had recently ended a relationship with King. Patrol Division Officers prepared a search warrant to attempt to identify the owner of the GPS and secure its contents. Bridgeport News: Another Person Shot

2023-09-10@03:32am--#Bridgeport CT--The Bridgeport Emergency Communications Center (ECC) received two ShotSpotter activations for Highland Avenue, followed by multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots and potential blood trails. Bridgeport Police and AMR (American Medical Response) were dispatched to the scene. Preliminary reports from the scene indicate that there is a gunshot wound (GSW) victim in the 100th block of Center Street, and their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Additionally, Bridgeport Hospital notified the ECC that another individual with a gunshot wound arrived at their Emergency Room via a private vehicle. Fairfield Cops Bust Romanian Connection

In Fairfield, two individuals, a male identified as Radu Radulescu with a date of birth of 10/24/88, and a female identified as Pinchi Anghel with a date of birth of 3/25/90, are currently in custody. The Fairfield Police Department was contacted because both individuals were recognized by Home Depot for engaging in larcenies through fraudulent activities. Their modus operandi involved taking products from the shelves, returning the items, and using sleight of hand techniques to steal money from the cashiers. During the encounter with law enforcement, the female provided a fake name, which led to her being charged with interfering with the officers. Bridgeport News: Arrest In 2022 Homicide

On September 7, 2023, members of the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force took 39-year-old Iyana Reynolds into custody for the January 2, 2022, murder of Andre Brown in Bridgeport CT. Reynolds had an outstanding extraditable murder warrant out of Bridgeport CT.  She was located in the island country of Jamaica and extradited to the United States. This evening, the Fugitive Task Force transported Reynolds to the Bridgeport Police Department where she was charged with Murder, Commission of A, B or C Felony with a Firearm, and Carrying a Pistol without a Permit.  Bond is set at $2,500,000.  Reynolds is scheduled to be arraigned in court tomorrow morning. https://youtu.be/ObJ-puj6Jck

Bridgeport News: Arrest Made In Apartment Fire-Ruled Homicide

#Bridgeport CT--Homicide Detective Thomas Harper's investigation identifies Joe Parker III, a resident of apartment 14 in building 86, Success Village, as the suspect responsible for the fatal fire. Parker is charged with 2 counts of Manslaughter in the 2nd Degree and has a $750,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for September 8, 2023, in Bridgeport Superior Court. This is the city's 15th and 16th homicide for 2023.

Child Left In Hot Car

Bridgeport Police said in a statement: #Bridgeport CT-- At 16:50hrs on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, the Bridgeport ECC received a 911 call from a party reporting that her and two others came upon a small child that was left in a vehicle in the parking lot of Bass Pro Shop and that the child was banging on the window. Reporting party indicated they had to break the window to retrieve the child due to the extreme heat. Bridgeport Police and AMR were dispatched to the location and on-scene reports indicated the child was immediately transported to Bridgeport Hospital by AMR for evaluation.
