#Bridgeport CT-- On April 17, 2023, Detectives from the Bridgeport Police Homicide Squad confirmed with law enforcement agencies in Ohio (Cuyahoga County PD & Solon PD) they had in their custody Ainsley Forbes. Ainsley Forbes, also known as (aka) Derrick Francis, is wanted out of Bridgeport CT for the April 6, 2023, murder of Brianna McKoy. In addition to this extraditable warrant, Francis also faces gun charges in Ohio. Solon Ohio Police Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in their jurisdiction where Francis was observed fleeing the vehicle on foot. Police engaged him in foot pursuit and made a quick apprehension. A loaded firearm was found in the vehicle. Francis is being held in Ohio as a fugitive from justice.…

Driver Of Truck That Leaked Human Waste on I-95 Causing A Pile Up Arrested

#Bridgeport CT--On the evening of July 17, 2023, at approximately 10:33 PM, the Connecticut State Police received a report of a hazardous situation on the northbound lanes of Interstate 95, specifically between exit 27 and exit 30. The incident involved a large semi-truck that was observed leaking an unidentified substance from its trailer onto the roadway. This resulted in a dangerously slick surface, leading to multiple motor vehicle accidents in the same area. As emergency responders rushed to the scene, it was discovered that the tractor-trailer responsible for the hazardous spill did not stop at the scene and instead exited the northbound lanes of I-95, taking local streets as an escape route. BRIDGEPORT POLICE LOOKING TO IDENTIFY PICKPOCKET WHO STOLE LOTTERY WINNINGS FROM ELDERLY VICTIM

The Bridgeport Police Department is looking to identify the female in the attached images who pickpocketed an elderly man of his lottery winnings on July 4th. The suspect passed the victim as he was leaving the Gulf Express gas station at 1598 Capitol Ave. on July 4th. and stole his wallet containing several hundred dollars in lottery winnings out of his back pants pocket. The female suspect then fled in a red Hyundai driven by a male with a bald head. Police have located a truck leaking oil, possibly the vehicle responsible for the oil on the highway. The truck is at Lordship Boulevard at Eagles Nest. Bridgeport News: Both Victims Pass In Success Av Fire

On July 14, 2023, at approximately 4:20 am the Bridgeport and Stratford Fire Departments responded to Building 86 Success Village on the report of a structure fire.  Bridgeport Police Officers also responded to secure and control the scene as firefighters battled the fire and searched for victims.  The Success Village Apartments are a housing community cooperative located on the East Side of Bridgeport. Bridgeport firefighters rescued two victims from the building.  Both were transported to Bridgeport Hospital with critical injuries.  The male victim, identified as 88-year-old Jose Pizarro, died at the hospital later that morning on July 14th.  The female victim has been identified as Mr. Pizarro’s wife Rose.  Mrs. Rose Pizarro passed away this afternoon (June 17, 2023) at the hospital.…
