Milford News: Violation Of Protective Order

#Milford CT-- On April 15, 2023, officers responded to the Milford Inn for a disturbance. They spoke to the complainant who said that Ryan McGibony, 29 of Old Gate Lane was yelling at people in the laundry room. During the investigation, they found that McGibony had a full protective order against him, and he was in violation of the order. Stratford News: 3 Alarm Fire At Honeyspot Gun Range

2023-04-17@6:17pm--#Stratford CT-- Firefighters were called to a fire at the Stratford Guns and Ammo located at 760 Honeyspot Road. When firefighters arrived they reported heavy fire from the roof area on the right side of the building and called for a second alarm. They sounded a third alarm which brought mutual aid from Bridgeport, Fairfield, and Milford to the scene for additional resources. Bridgeport News: Homicide Arrest

On April 17, 2023, Detectives from the Bridgeport Police Homicide Squad confirmed with law enforcement agencies in Ohio  (Cuyahoga County PD & Solon PD) they had in their custody Ainsley Forbes.  Ainsley Forbes, also known as (aka) Derrick Francis, is wanted out of Bridgeport CT for the April 6, 2023, murder of Brianna McKoy.    In addition to this extraditable warrant, Francis also faces gun charges in Ohio.  Solon Ohio Police Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop in their jurisdiction where Francis was observed fleeing the vehicle on foot.  Police engaged him in foot pursuit and made a quick apprehension.  A loaded firearm was found in the vehicle.  Francis is being held in Ohio as a fugitive from justice.  He is…

Trumbull CT-- On Friday, April 14, 2023, Trumbull police were notified of a fight at the Hillcrest Middle School carnival where one (1) teen pulled out a knife on another teen before leaving the area. The thirteen (13) year old male resident of Grasmere Avenue in Fairfield, was eventually located by police and arrested for his involvement in this altercation. Around 8:30 PM, Trumbull police were notified of a fight that occurred at the carnival, and officers were given a description of the youth who displayed a knife.
