The wind kept spreading the fire but the firefighters were able to contain it and eventually knocked out all the hotspots. #Bridgeport CT--On March 21, 2023, at approximately 10:15am the Bridgeport Emergency Operations Center received reports of suspicious activity in the area of North Avenue & Clinton Avenue. Responding Patrol Officers canvassed the area on foot and ultimately located an unresponsive male laying inside a garage within the 900 block of Clinton Avenue. Medical personnel responded and pronounced the person deceased. The deceased man appears to be homeless and has not yet been identified. Injuries to his body are suspicious. The Patrol Division requested the Detective Bureau respond to the scene. The Detective Bureau has taken charge of the investigation with the Identification Unit currently processing the scene. Alarmingly high theft rates for Kia and Hyundai models continue across the country, including several instances in Connecticut. 2023-03-21@1:07pm--#Bridgeport CT-- #ctfire-- Firefighters were called to a shed fire located on Wayne Street but closer to and facing Madison Avenue near Perth Street. The fire was due to improperly stored chemicals. This is the second time within a year firefighters were called to this address for the same reason.
