2022-09-23@9:11am–#Fairfield CT– Fairfield Police were called to Colonial Drive for the report of a double homicide which turned out to be a swatting incident. Swatting is defined as “the action or practice of making a prank call to emergency services in an attempt to bring about the dispatch of a large number of armed police officers to a particular address.” Nearby Sherman School was not placed in locked down because police were certain the incident was not near the school.
