Governor Ned Lamont is directing Connecticut’s extreme hot weather protocol tobe activated beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, and remaining ineffect through 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2022. The purpose of the protocol is toensure that the most vulnerable populations receive protection from the hotconditions. On July 29, 2022 Bernard was brought before the court and charged with Sexual Assault in the 1st Degree and Risk of Injury to a Minor. Bond is set at $300,000. In February Bernard was prosecuted.
