Today Congressman Himes visited Natural Annie, a soy-based candle company located at 1313 Connecticut Avenue where he made his own candle during his visit. The Woman Business Development Corporation was also on hand and provided Annie with funding and technical assistance. Annie plans to expand the business and invest in additional equipment to better serve her clients. Natural Annie has become popular on Tik Tok and is famous in our area for her Sip and Pour events on the weekends.
