#Bridgeport Police Press Release--A 21 year-old female who fired multiple gunshots out of a window of a William St. home in June, and then barricaded herself inside, has been arrested for taking part in another shooting in Bridgeport in February of this year. Nilah Bowie, DOB: 12/30/00, of 1872 Bathgate Ave, in the Bronx, New York. who goes by the performance name of Tiny B, was taken into custody during a court appearance in Bridgeport on Wednesday. She was charged with Conspiracy to Commit Assault in the First Degree, Risk of Injury to A Minor, Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree and Breach of Peace in the Second Degree. Bridgeport News: Schools At Half Day

Good Afternoon Bridgeport Public Schools Community, I understand the decision to operate a half day schedule for the remainder of the week has caused challenges for some families. Many of our schools recorded classroom temperatures over 90 degrees yesterday with the forecast calling for even higher temperatures over the next few days. The district team made the decision to mitigate placing students and staff in a potentially dangerous environment. The weather we are currently experiencing is not typical for this time of the year which made planning impossible. Norwalk News: Trespass and Interfering Arrests

#Norwalk CT-- On Monday, August 29th at 9:06 am the Norwalk Police Communications centerreceived a 911 call from a State of Connecticut Marshall attempting to serve aneviction order at a residence located at 9 Sylvester Court.The Marshall reported that he was met by a group that was interfering andobstructing his attempt to serve the order, as well as several individualstrespassing on the property. A group of officers responded to Sylvester Court and made contact with theMarshall. The officers were confronted by a group a 15-20 people protesting theeviction, trespassing, and obstructing.
