Fairfield News: Pursuit Terminated After Car Break In

Fairfield Police UPDATE: On December 18, 2021 at approximately 10:15 AM, a resident of Hurd Street reported having justobserved two males attempting to enter a neighbor’s vehicle. The subjects fled the area in a silver NissanAltima, bearing a New Jersey license plate. The vehicle was determined to be a stolen vehicle which hadbeen taken in an armed car-jacking in New Haven, CT on 12/16/21.The vehicle was later observed by police on Oldfield Road near Penfield Road. Stratford News: Homicide Investigation

Homicide Investigation:The Stratford Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred on LightStreet near Barnum Avenue at approximately 1am on this date. During the incident twoindividuals were shot by an unknown assailant. The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. A female victim was transported to a localhospital and is being treated for wounds received during the assault. At this time no names arebeing released until next of kin can be notified. The scene is active and Barnum Avenue will be closed to traffic between Bruce Avenue andBoston Avenue until approximately noon. Bridgeport News: Homicide #21 — Police UPDATE:

BRIDGEPORT—On Thursday December 16, 2021 at 2116 hours, the Bridgeport EmergencyCommunications Center received a call of a party shot in Sammy’s Grocery & Dollar Store at 500 ParkAvenue. When Bridgeport Police officers arrived, they found the victim, Clinton Taylor (DOB: 6/25/98 of273 West Ave, Apt 211), deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. Within minutes, Officer Cavalierelocated a suspect about a block away. After a foot pursuit, and with the assistance of other patrolofficers, the suspect was taken into custody. A handgun, believed to be the weapon used to kill Taylor,was recovered nearby. The suspect refused to give his name or any personal information, stating only that he is “Lucifer”.
