The victims from the homicide, discovered at 390 Platt Street on September 9, 2021, are as follows: 19-year-old Candace Goodwin of Stratford Connecticut 59-year-old Austin Burgher of Jamaica Tarik Francis D.O.B. 4/2/1996 has been charged with Murder (2 counts), Criminal Attempt Murder (1 count), and Criminal Attempt Assault in the 1st Degree (1 count).

Shelton News: Motorcycle Crashes

Police UPDATE: On 09-10-21 at approximately 11:20am, Shelton Police, Fire and EMS were dispatched to the area of 18 Old Stratford Rd for an accident involving a vehicle and a motorcycle. The preliminary investigation by police revealed that the driver of the vehicle was exiting the Wheels Gas Station and struck a motorcycle that was traveling on Old Stratford Rd headed towards Bridgeport Ave. There were no passengers. The operator of the motorcycle was transported to the hospital and was later pronounced deceased. Social Media Contact Leads To Arrest

#Westport CT--On September 8, 2021, at approximately 4:35 p.m., officers responded to a Westportaddress on a report of a possible violation of a restraining order. The complainant stated that shecurrently has an active restraining order in place which purportedly bars Leandy Perdomo fromcontacting her. She alleged that Mr. Perdomo violated the order by contacting her via a socialmedia app.Mr. Perdomo was contacted by the investigating officer and agreed to come to theWestport Police Department. He was placed under arrest and charged with Criminal Violationof a Restraining Order.
