Bridgeport News: Double Homicide- Cop Suspended
Police UPDATE: On May 16, 2021 at approximately 1:56am Bridgeport Police responded to 1023 Main Street on a report of shots fired at an illegal after-hours club in the basement of 1023 Main Street. Two individuals were the victims of a homicide due to gunfire at the location; identified as Charles Dimples Barnes and Norman Charles Peters. The B.P.D. Detective Bureau Homicide Squad immediately took over the investigation into the incident at large. During the course of this investigation it was found that Probationary Officer K. Edwards was in attendance and had lost her personal belongings containing badge, identification and other personal effects.
