UPDATE: Suspect was shot in the groin.  The shooting took place at Hallett and Arctic. Overturned Kayaker Found

Bridgeport News: Homicide #10

On July 10, 2020 at 0159 hours, a Shot Spotter activation indicated gunfire at PT Barnum apartments near building 4. A uniformed police detail that was working in the area responded to the incident and were met by a large crowd. Officers discovered a 21 year old male lying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, identified as Teon Kelly of Bridgeport was transported by medics to Bridgeport Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Officer at the shooting scene attempted to identify witnesses, but no one would cooperate with officers, despite that fact that it appears there were dozens of people present when the shooting occurred.
