Norwalk News: Burglary Suspect Sought

#Norwalk CT--The Detective Bureau is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a burglary that burglary occurred on June 2, 2020 at approximately 5:00a.m at the Extended Stay Hotel at 400 Main Ave. Cash was stolen from the register, and a purse and computer were stolen from a guests’ room. Anyone who recognizes the individual pictured in the attached flier, or who has information on this crime is asked to contact Detective Taylor at 203-854-3183.

Westport News: Tax Man Cometh…

Westport, CT -  Tax Collector Harry Whiteley reminded residents today that first quarter real estate taxes, personal property taxes, motor vehicle taxes and sanitary sewer use and assessment charges are due July 1, 2020.  Taxpayers have until August 3, 2020 to pay taxes without penalty.  Accounts will be subject to an 18 percent (1.5 percent/month) penalty charge if paid late.                         Minimum interest charge is $2.00.   Failure to receive a bill does not abate the charges or interest. Bridgeport News: Fatal Crash – Brooks Street and Jane Street

2020-06-09#Bridgeport CT-- At approximately 2:03 am Bridgeport Patrol Officers and Bridgeport Firefighters responded to the scene of a fatal crash at the intersection of Brooks Street and Jane Street.  This was a two car motor vehicle crash involving a dark grey Honda Accord that was traveling northbound on Brooks Street at a high rate of speed.  The vehicle did not stop for the stop sign at the intersection of Brooks Street and Jane Street.  At this moment a silver Honda Civic was traveling westbound on Jane Street, crossing through the intersection, when it was struck.
