Bridgeport News: State Rep Pulled Over

2019-12-11 #Bridgeport CT-  Apparently State Representative Christopher Rosario was pulled over for stolen legislative plates in Bridgeport tonight. City Councilperson Eneida Walker said on her Facebook page: "So Budget time is around the corner we have some work to do. Bridgeport Police Department it's training time. WHO THE HELL DOES NOT KNOW THAT Christopher Rosario is our State Rep here in Bridgeport? How the heck does the Bridgeport Police pull him over and accuse him of driving his vehicle with a stolen plate. How the heck do you not run a legislative plate properly. #Fairfield CT--First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick announced today that four local non-profits have received funding commitments from businesses totaling more than $66,000 as a result of the Town’s participation in the State’s Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA) program. The commitments represent a nearly 50% increase in pledged gifts from last year. The State’s Neighborhood Assistance Act program incentivizes businesses to make charitable contributions to approved community programs. Businesses that make such charitable gifts are eligible to apply for, and receive, a tax credit against their State corporate tax liability. Programs must be conducted by municipal agencies or non-profit organizations, and be approved by the host community as well as the State’s Department of Revenue Services (DRS). Bridgeport News: Shots Fired

2019-12-10@9:22pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police received a number of phone calls for shots fired on  Cowles Street.  Shell casings were found but so far no one or anything was reported hit.   Question to the viewers: I don't normally post all shots fired calls unless there are a lot of calls, someone is shot, a home was shot up or a school goes into lock-in/out.  Do you feel this is adequate or should I post them all?  I'm just afraid it will be like posting every time a fire alarm goes off.  There are so many of them you would ignore the postings.  Oh, keep in mind I don't hear EVERY call on these  Thoughts?   This news report was made possible…

Westport News: Car Hits Building

2019-12-10@9:11pm--#Westport CT-- A car hit a building at 7 Post Road West after colliding with another car on the Post Road.  The car that hit the building was blocking the doorway to the apartments upstairs so police had the tow truck expedited.  There is no word on any injuries.   Our sponsor can make it Like It Never Even Happened!
