Bridgeport News: 3 In Custody After Crash

2019-08-17 @ 6:40PMish-- #Bridgeport CT-- A car trying elude Bridgeport Police appears to have hit a car at the intersection of South Frontage and Myrtle Avenue and then crash into wall. 3 people were taken into custody, two appeared to be injured from the crash plus the citizen in the intersection. Defibrillator Donated To Westpory

#Westport, CT: August 14, 2019 - Members of the Kings Highway Elementary School presented the town of Westport with an AED (automated external defibrillator) to be located in the newly constructed restrooms at Compo Beach South. The AED was donated by Wallingford-based organization, In a Heartbeat, which received more than $3,000 in donations from Kings Highway School’s annual Variety Show recently held in June. Norwalk, CT- Norwalk Police Chief Thomas Kulhawik and Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Agent-In-Charge Brian C. Turner, announce the arrest of Brandon Wagshol, 22 of Norwalk. Wagshol was arrested on August 15, 2019 and charged with 4 counts of Illegal Possession of Large Capacity Magazines.   The Federal Bureau of Investigation National Threat Operations Center (NTOC) received a tip that Wagshol was attempting to purchase large capacity rifle magazines from out of state. The FBI and the Norwalk Police Department began a joint investigation based upon this information. During the investigation it was revealed that Wagshol was buying rifle parts online in an attempt to build his own rifle. Wagshol had a Facebook post that showed his interest in committing…
