MILFORD, Conn. (August 15, 2019) Boys & Girls Village received a $550,000 grant from the Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF) to support delivery of a Parenting Support Services (PSS) Program. The service supports and enhances positive functioning for families with children 0-18 years-of-age. Families enrolled in the program receive one of two PSS interventions, the Positive Parenting Program, which helps parents become resourceful problem solvers and create a positive and safe home learning environment, or the Circle of Security Parenting program, designed to build, support, and strengthen parents’ relationship capabilities.
