Now that schools are about to open in Trumbull I would like to remind drivers of some tips for safety since more cars and now buses will be on the roads. Not only do we expect additional traffic, we will also see an increase in pedestrians on the roads, as students wait for buses and walk to and from school. Many students are also driven to school and to after school activities. Faculty members will also be on the roads in the morning and afternoon and to after school programs. Norwalk News: Gym Owner Accused Of Sexual Assault

Norwalk, CT- Norwalk Detectives arrested Jose “Calasanz” Martinez, 66 of Norwalk at police headquarters today. Martinez turned himself in on active warrant that charges him with Sexual Assault 4. Norwalk Detectives received complaint from the female victim on July 28, 2019. The victim stated that she was assaulted July 27, 2019, while exercising at the Calasanz Martial Arts and Fitness Studio at 507 Westport Avenue.   The victim stated that while doing core strengthening at his studio, Martinez sexually assaulted her and attempted to have intercourse with her. Based upon the investigation an arrest warrant was issued for Jose Martinez. Bridgeport News: Stabbing

2019-08-16 @ 5:30am---#Bridgeport CT-- Police officers were dispatched to a report of a party stabbed at 530 William Street. When they arrived, they found the victim, Ernesto Esquilin (DOB: 3/9/44 of 530 Willliam St) covered in blood. Medics transported the victim to Bridgeport Hospital. He is listed in critical condition. A crime scene was located at Noble Ave and Stillman Street and detectives are investigating. Stratford News: Flood Insurance Premium DECREASED

STRATFORD – Residents of Stratford, Connecticut have received a reduction in their flood insurance premiums through the increase of various floodplain management measures encouraged by the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). Molly Kaput of FEMA presented recognition to the Town for their efforts at the Town Council meeting Monday night. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) oversees the NFIP, which administers a program called the Community Rating System (CRS).  The CRS is a voluntary incentive program that recognizes and encourages community floodplain management activities that exceed minimum NFIP requirements.  The program includes 10 different class rating levels based on the number and type of activities voluntarily initiated by the participating community.  Each level corresponds to a percentage discount on National Flood…
