The Westport Astronomical Society’s Ham Radio Club, will be participating in the North American Amateur Radio “Field Day” exercise, June 22 – 23, 2019, at 182 Bayberry Lane in Westport, CT. This event is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend from 2 PM until 9 PM on Saturday, June 22nd and from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. on Sunday June 23rd. Every year tens of thousands of Amateur Radio operators (also called “hams”) all over the U.S. and Canada participate in Field Day.
