Bridgeport News: Polite Pursuit Ends

11:20pm--#Bridgeport CT-- The "Polite Pursuit" came to an end at Arlington and Madison, the same spot where the pursuit the other night came to an end. The driver just pulled the car over. The pursuit began on Lindley Street area, down Park Avenue, Wood Avenue and a tour of the East Side before returning to the Madison Avenue exit. It was a slow speed pursuit with the driver slowing at all intersections which is why I dubbed it the Polite Pursuit. Fairfield News: DUI Collision

#Fairfield CT--On Sunday 01/20/19 at 10:53pm the Fairfield Police Dispatch Center began receiving radio transmissions that a Fairfield Police Officer was just involved in a serious motor vehicle collision on Kings Hwy Cutoff near New England Avenue while he was on his way to work. The driver of the other vehicle, later identified as James Crowther (DOB: 12/15/1969) was traveling the wrong way heading east-bound in the west-bound lane of Kings Hwy Cutoff when it collided into the front end of the officer’s off duty vehicle which was traveling west bound on Kings Hwy Cutoff. Bridgeport Homicide Mom: “I Never Got To Say Goodbye”

#Bridgeport CT--Llesha O'Connor, mother of Sujata Lee Edward who was killed last night on William Street said she never got to say goodbye to her daughter. She said her children were with her in the home that they own when the shooting took place. According to the Connecticut Post: “There had been a fight outside the home earlier in the evening, involving Edwards’ son and an ex-girlfriend who brought a large group of people with her, O’Connor said. Bridgeport News: Woman Killed By Stray Bullet

#Bridgeport CT--On February 5, 2019 at 1947 hours, shots were fired at 660 William Street. Patrol officers immediately responded to the scene and located a 37 year old female on the second floor of a home at this location, who sustained at least one gunshot wound to the torso. The victim appears to have been shot through a second floor window. Officers began CPR on the victim and continued to assist medics with the administration of CPR until she was transported to Bridgeport Hospital. Shortly after arrival at the hospital, the victim was pronounced dead. Detectives are processing a crime scene at this location and are interviewing witnesses.
