6:44pm--#Bridgeport CT-- State and Bridgeport Police were in a slow speed pursuit starting near Bridgeport Hospital then circling Birdseye and Palisades Avenue a number of times before they were taken into custody after being boxed in near Remington and Palisades. This was a state police pursuit with a Bridgeport assist. The car was wanted for a traffic violation, then they discovered a mis-use on the plate (usually means it's stolen). Speeds were for the most part in the mid-20 mph but with gusts of 50mph. Looks like they are going to need our sponsor! #Bridgeport CT-- Bridgeport Police began an investigation of the Park Cemetery on Lindley Street back in September 2018 after allegations of digging up old graves to make room for new gravesites. Today, an arrest warrant for Dale LaPrade for interference with a cemetery. She was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court on December 18th. The felony charge is punishable by up to ten years. Police Captain Brian Fitzgerald said this was an unusual case, a first for the city. Fitzgerald cited praise for detectives Kimberly Biehn and Jorge Cintron for their work on this case. #Norwalk CT--On October 4, 2018, members of the Special Services Division and the Emergency Services Unit executed a search warrant at 17 Freedman Drive. This stemmed from a narcotics sales investigation into Ryan Jackson, who resides there. Jackson was not home at the time however investigators seized Fentanyl laced heroin, marijuana, drug packaging material and ammunition from the home. Officer Barrett, who was the lead investigator, secured an arrest warrant for Jackson as a result. On December 4, 2018, members of the Special Services Division and the United States Marshals Service arrested Jackson at a location in Stamford. #Bridgeport CT--The Bridgeport Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify a white male approximately 40 years old with salt and pepper facial hair, depicted in the photograph below. He is responsible for an armed robbery inside People's Bank located at Stop & Shop 4531 Main St that occurred on December 4, 2018 at 1907 hours. Investigators believe this is the same person responsible for an armed robbery that took place on December 1, 2018 in Waterbury at a Peoples Bank branch located at 240 Chase Avenue inside a Stop and Shop. The Connecticut Bankers Reward Association is offering $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible for the two robberies. (Press release)
