Bridgeport News: Ground Breaking For Amphitheater

#Bridgeport CT-- Ground breaking for the new Harbor Yard Amphitheater took place this morning after phase one of three is complete. Design one was design, structural engineering, final drawings and permitting. The new structure is expected to be twelve stories or one hundred and twenty feet tall, almost as tall as the People's Bank Tower down the street on Main Street. Phase two will be demolition, site work and footings put in place. State three will spend $15 million with 258 construction jobs. Jim Koplik of Live Nation Connecticut promises great talent to visit the amphitheater, Koplik also runs the Xfinity Center in Hartford. Bridgeport News: Homicide Arrest

#Bridgpeort CT--This morning, detectives from the Fugitive Task Force arrested(DOB: 07/21/1987 of 114 Asylum St) for the May 24, 2018 shooting death of Willie Nance. Ragin is charged with Manslaughter in the First Degree, Carrying a Pistol Without a Permit, Illegal Discharge of a Firearm, Use of a Firearm for A,B,C Felony, and Criminal Possession of a Firearm. Bridgeport News: 3 Injured When Trains “Bump”

UPDATE: 1:41pm--#Bridgeport CT-- 3 Metro-North workers were injured when two trains "bumped" each other behind Bluefish Stadium. Firefighters were challenged to removed the injured patients because the tracks are elevated at that spot. So firefighters used their ladder truck and put the patients in a rescue basket to lower them down. All four tracks were shut down while the rescue operation took place. Train service has resumed. There were no civilians on the passenger trains. 1:38pm--#Bridgeport Ct--Two trains have "bumped" each other near the Ferry Dock.  There were no passengers onboard but one employee is reported injured.
