St. Patrick’s Day is one of America’s most widely celebrated holidays, for the Irish and non-Irish alike. It’s a great excuse to gather with friends and family and make merry over bangers n’ mash and a pint of green beer. Sadly, the night often ends with drunk drivers on the road, which pose a threat to other drivers, vehicle passengers, and pedestrians. Fairfield News: New Scam

#Fairfield CT--On 03/15/2018 at 5:34pm the Fairfield Police Department responded to a report of a woman who stated she was scammed out of $200.00 at the Super Stop & Shop, 1160 Kings Hwy Cutoff in Fairfield. The complainant reported that while backing out of a parking space in the lot, she looked in her rearview mirror and made sure it was clear to proceed. As she continued backing up, she suddenly heard a loud thump at the rear of her vehicle. After getting out to investigate, she observed an unidentified male holding his hand as if he was in pain. Bridgeport News: House Fire

9:02am--#Bridgeport CT--  A fire in the basement of 1002 Pembroke Street spread to the third floor this morning.  One tenant on the second floor was treated for smoke inhalation.  The fire went to two alarms before firefighters were able to bring the fire under control.  The fire marshal was called to investigate the cause of the fire.  Red Cross are on scene assisting the tenants with temporary housing and aid.

Trumbull News: Man Exposes Himself To Jogger

#Trumbull CT-- On March 14, 2018, a jogger reported to police that a male in his car reportedly exposed himself to her on Huntington Turnpike near the Nichols fields in Trumbull. The male also reportedly followed her and asked repeatedly if she wanted a ride before eventually driving away. Police are requesting that anyone who may have information on this incident please contact us. On Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at around 5:00 p.m., a female was jogging in the Nichols park along Huntington Turnpike (Rt. 108) near Unity Road.
