Stratford News: Bar Robbery/Shooting Photos

#Stratford CT-- Stratford Police released photos from the robbery at Bar at 2399 Main Street last night.  As you can see the robber was masked and identification from these images will be difficult. The bartender was shot in the stomach and is in stable condition after surgery.  The bartender turned over cash during the robbery but was still shot.  Anyone with any information please contact Stratford Police at 203- 385-4100.

Stratford News: Bartender Shot During Robbery

#Stratford Police Press Release: On 11-14- 2017 an armed robbery occurred at Stratford Center at BAR. The robbery occurred shortly before 7pm when an unknown male entered the bar, approached the bartender and demanded money. The bartender complied, was shot once in the abdomen. The unknown suspect fled the scene on foot and officers are attempting to locate him. At this time a description is not available. The victim was transported to Bridgeport Hospital where is undergoing surgery for his injury. Officers and Investigators are still processing the scene and speaking to witnesses. Bridgeport News: Water Main Break Will Cause Morning Commute Delays

#Bridgeport CT-- Water main break at Park and North Avenue. City Councilperson Jenette Jeanette Herron was on scene and gathered Fire Chief Thode and Emergency Manager Scott Appleby to give viewers of DoingItLocal an update. Around 9:10pm this evening the water had been turned off. Fire Chief Thode said his main concern was the gas line that runs alongside the water main on North Avenue then "T's" off Park Avenue. There were initial concerns about evacuation due to flooded basements. The surrounding area is blocked off not just to vehicles but pedestrians as well.
