#Westport CT — On 04/01/2016, officers were dispatched to a medical facility on a report of an assault on an employee by a patient. The victim stated that Murdock punched him six times in the face with a closed fist, resulting in minor injury. An arrest warrant application was submitted and approved for Murdock. On 10/21/2017, Westport PD was contacted by the Naugatuck Police Department who had Murdock in custody. Officers traveled to Naugatuck and took custody of Murdock. At Westport headquarters, officers served the active arrest warrant charging Murdock with 53a-61 Assault 3 rd . He was released after posting $7,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Court on 10/31/17.
