UPDATE:  On 09/07/2017 the Shelton Police Department responded to the Shelton High School on a report of an unwanted person. Upon arrival School Officials reported that they were requesting, Nichelle Smith, who was a substitute teacher to leave the school property. Smith left the grounds without any confrontation and was advised not to return to any Shelton School Properties including the Board of Education building or she would be subjected to arrest on criminal trespassing charges. Approximately a half hour later Shelton Police were dispatched to 382 Long Hill, Shelton Board of Education, on a report that Smith was on the property. Police arrived on scene, located Smith on the property, and she was arrested.

 
Nichelle Smith, Age 41, of Naugatuck was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass 3 rd degree. Smith was released on a Promise to Appear in Derby Superior Court on 09/18/17.

9:11am–#Shelton CT– Police were called to the Board of Education at 382 Long Hill Avenue for a woman trespassing.  According to sources, the woman was thought to be a former employee and allegedly made threats.  EMS was called to evaluate her mental well being.
