5:55pm--#Bridgeport CT-- The tables were turned during a home invasion in the 900 block of Kossuth Street. The suspect was shot by the homeowner during an attempted home invasion. The suspect fled in a car driven by another person. Police located the car at Central and Barnum and have one person in custody.

11:01am--#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating a crash at Broad and Canon Street. A car hit two pedestrians and a parked car. Unknown the extent of the injuries.
12:34am--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters quick response kept an exterior fire on the exterior at 50 Fairview Avenue Extension (off Indian Avenue). No reports of the fire extending into the home. UI was called to secure the power and the fire marshal was called to investigate the cause of the fire.
