On July 7 th 2017 Sergeant Robert Chaisson is retiring from the Fairfield Police Department after 29 years of dedicated service to the Town of Fairfield. Sergeant Chaisson was hired on March 7 th , 1988 where he served as a patrolman before being transferred into the Special Services Division as an Accident Reconstructionist.

Sergeant Chaisson served as an Accident Reconstructionist for 23 years investigating several of the Town’s most horrific crashes. He was promoted to Sergeant on January1st 2015 where he served as a patrol Sergeant. In 2016 he was transferred back to Special Services where he supervised the Accident Division. “The Fairfield Police Department is honored and thankful for the integrity and professionalism that “Bob” has displayed over his 29 years of service and we are lucky to have worked with such a loyal person.”
