Bridgeport New: Smoke In An Apartment
4:06pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Dodi from Servpro was quicker than me on the scene to a report of a structure fire at 24 Roosevelt Street. Firefighters reported heavy smoke on their arrival. Turned out to be a self cleaning oven that had something else in the oven as well causing the building to fill up with smoke. If it were something more serious Servpro would have made it Like It Never Even Happened!
Bridgeport News: Bank Robber Apprehended
#Bridgeport News: Police apprehend Julio Marc Nelson on Minturn Road after he allegedly robbed the TD Bank at Old Town and Main Street this morning. There was also a bank robbery in Stratford at the Key Bank on Hawley Lane. Police believe the two robberies are connected.

Seymour News: Garage Fire
#Seymour Connecticut-- Earlier this morning firefighters knocked down a detached garage fire at 24 Roosevelt Drive. Police reported there was ammunition in the garage. There were no reported injuries. During firefighting operation the garage began to bow and firefighters had to finish the attack with the ladder truck.
