#Fairfield The town of Fairfield is facing some new and unique challenges. The loss of the town’s largest taxpayer- General Electric and the tax exempt Sacred Heart University has purchased the property. The state of Connecticut has cut back funding especially to schools. First Selectman Mike Tetreau addressed these concerns as well as summarized the town’s departments challenges and accomplishments.
