Bridgeport News: Threat To Animal Contrl

Bridgeport News: Fight At Bassick High School

12:00ish--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Today around noon, a large fight broke out in the cafeteria at Bassick High School which continued outside  between the two school buildings.  Two guards were sent to St Vincent's ER,  9 Students were arrested and suspended. It took approximately 20 minutes to gain control, Bassick High School was placed in, lock in and lock out for the rest of the day. Fairfield News: House Fire

5:00pm--#Fairfield Connecticut-- Firefighters were called to a structure fire at 241 Old Stratfield Road. The visible flames were seen from a rear bedroom window. Radio reports said that neighbors were setting up ladders to get the people from the second floor out of the building. Everyone made it safely out of the home. Firefighters had to enter through a window on the second floor taking up valuable time. Firefighters had a hard time entering the first floor door. A representative from the building department was requested to the scene as well as animal control for the pets living in the home. There were no reported injuries.
