#Westport CT–Monday, 6/5/2015–The Westport Fire Department was dispatched along with Fairfield Firefighters to a Motor Vehicle Accident with injuries on I95 between exits 18 and 19. The initial dispatch from Westport was Engine 5, Rescue 3 and the Shift Commander.

Engine 5 arrived and found a two car crash involving a SUV and a flatbed tow truck. The SUV sustained heavy damage. Neither driver required extrication. Firefighters from Westport and Fairfield worked to secure the vehicles in place and treated both drivers for injuries until EMS arrived.  All three travel lanes were shut down for a period of time. CSP was on scene to investigate and control traffic. The last Fire department unit cleared the highway at 3:17AM
