Bridgeport News: Stranger Danger

#Bridgeport Connecticut-- A 12 year old girl was approached by a man in his 60's with a long white beard, one tooth in his mouth.  He told the girl she needed to come live with him.  This happened in the Barnum Avenue / Brooks Street / East Main Street area according to radio reports.  He was wearing gray jeans, a jean jacket and is possibly homeless.  The girl was able to run away, this happened this morning.   This report is made possible by:

New Leadership For DMV

#HARTFORD, CT – Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that he has selected a new leadership team to operate the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).  Michael R. Bzdyra of Wallingford has been appointed to serve as Commissioner of the agency and Judeen Wrinn of Middletown has been named Deputy Commissioner.   “For the last three or four decades, people talked about making modernization upgrades to Connecticut’s DMV only to put it off.  Now we’re actually doing it.  Transitions in an agency of this size and importance are challenging.  We’re moving from an antiquated, outdated system into one takes advantage of today’s modern technologies.  Because of the challenge, many put off the hard decisions.  We didn’t,” Governor Malloy said.  “I…

GREENS FARMS VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY  ANNOUNCES EASTER EGG HUNT MARCH 26

#Westport CT--The Greens Farms Volunteer Fire Company will hold its 65th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26 on the grounds of Long Lots School, Hyde Lane, Westport at 2:00 PM.  Children will hunt for the eggs in age groups through age ten. Trumbull News: Edison Road Burglary

ON TUESDAY (3/15) AT ABOUT 2:30 PM, POLICE RESPONDED TO 310 EDISON RD. AFTER NEIGHBORS REPORTED TWO MALES WALKING AROUND THE REAR OF THE HOUSE. WHEN POLICE BEGAN CHECKING THE EXTERIOR THEY LOCATED AN OPEN REAR DOOR WHICH APPEARED TO HAVE BEEN FORCED OPEN AND TWO MALE SUBJECTS STANDING IN THE KITCHEN. A THIRD PERSON WAS THEN LOCATED IN THE HOUSE AND ALL THREE WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY. ONE OF THE SUSPECTS, IDENTIFIED AS 21 YEAR OLD JONATHAN DEJESUS WAS FOUND TO RESIDE NEXT DOOR AND STATED HE WAS JUST CHECKING THE HOUSE OUT BECAUSE HE WAS CURIOUS AS TO WHY IT HAD BEEN VACANT FOR A WHILE. #Bridgeport Connecticut--The best tip Domino's Pizza driver Jonathan Council could have received is if he listened to K-9 Officer Mark Martocchio advice to move his car  on the narrow Olive Street ( or hold the olives).  Instead he moved his car  further up the block and now was blocking traffic.  After refusing to show the officer his registration and then throwing it at the officer, instead of receiving an  infraction for improper parking  he then added Interfering with an Officer like adding toppings to a pizza.  After a cheesy mugshot and posting a $5,000 bond he was released from custody.  The officer delivered the pizzas to the woman who ordered it for her family's dinner and instructed here to contact Domino's for…
