Oxford, CT–(February 10, 2016): Troopers from Troop A-Southbury are investigating an armed robbery at the Sunoco Gas Station, 357 Oxford Rd. Oxford.

On February 9, 2016 at approximately 10:30 p.m. Troopers responded to Sunoco Gas Station for a reported armed robbery. Upon arrival troopers spoke with store employees who stated the male suspect entered the gas station and demanded money from cash register. After receiving an undetermined amount of cash the male suspect fled the gas station on foot and headed South on Oxford Rd. No injuries were reported. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male approximately 5’10” with a medium build. The suspect was last seen wearing a black coat over a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and a dark-colored mask or scarf over his face. The suspect was also armed with a black handgun.
