#Westport CT–On 02/25/16, Westport Officers responded to The Stamford Police Department to take Andre Fowler into custody for an active arrest warrant held by Westport. On 01/19/16, two male suspects stole 3 pairs of boots while distracting store employees. The employees noticed the boots were missing after the suspects left the store, so they reviewed the in store video footage. Store employees notified the surrounding stores of the theft, and description of the suspects. On 01/21/16, two days after the Theory theft, store employees from J Crew called Theory advising that the same suspects were in their store (J Crew). Officers located the suspects, who were subsequently arrested for shoplifting from J Crew. Warrants were then obtained for the Theory thefts, and Fowler was arrested on 02/25/16, with a court date in Norwalk on 03/08/16.
