Norwalk Police Looking For Robbers

#Norwalk CT--On January 2, 2016, the Norwalk Department of Police Service investigated an armed robbery at the Verizon Wireless store located at 561 Connecticut Avenue. Two black male suspects entered the store, one brandishing a firearm and stole $20,000 worth of smart phones and I-pads. Both suspects were wearing hoods and one was wearing a ski mask. It was reported that one of the suspects had a slight Haitian or Jamaican accent. Bridgeport News: Grandma Home After Abduction

8:43pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A grandmother who was waiting inside a car for her grandson to run into Quisquella Mini Market at 910 Madison Avenue.  While he was inside the store the car and grandma was abducted.  About an hour later grandma was dropped off at a Compare Food Market and grandma was able to get a ride to her home on Perth Street.  Police said with the excited family members in the home combined with a language barrier they are still trying to figure out if it was the Compare Foods on East Main Street or Fairfield Avenue.  Police were able to get a very good view of the suspect from a high definition security system at McKinley and Madison Avenue.…

Bridgeport News: Grandma Stolen With Car

8:34pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A man stopped at the corner store at Madison and McKinley Avenue and left the car running with his grandmother inside.  When he returned to the car it was missing along with grandma who does not know how to drive.  Police are looking for a black 2007 Mazda 6.  The car fled west on McKinley along with the woman who is legally blind.   This report is made possible by:

Westport Man Arrested On Fake Perscriptions

#Westport CT--On 12/29/15, Mark Simonetti turned himself in on an active warrant for his arrest stemming from an investigation performed in November, 2015. The accused reportedly used fake written prescriptions he created himself to obtain controlled narcotics at a Walgreens in Bridgeport CT 33 times from August 2014 to October 2015. The accused mimicked the prescription pad from Dr Singer’s office in Westport. He was released on a $50,000 court issued bond and given a court date of 01/07/2016 in Norwalk.
