Bridgeport Christmas Tree Pick Up

The City of Bridgeport will begin collecting Christmas trees on Monday, January 11, 2016 and continues through Monday, January 18, 2013.   All trees must be placed at curbside and free of all ornaments and plastic bags. Norwalk Shooting Incident

The Norwalk Department of Police Service Detective Bureau is actively investigating a shooting that occurred on January 8, 2015 at 7:02 pm on Sheridan Street at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue. A male gunshot victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the Norwalk Hospital. The shooting appears to be an isolated incident arising from a disturbance in the roadway.
