#Bridgeport CT–On August 1, 2015, Bridgeport and Fairfield PD responded to a fight and drowning at Chubby’s Bar and Restaurant at 3488 Fairfield Avenue. The victim was Wayne Bentley (2-26-73). On today’s date 1-12-16 an arrest warrant was secured and served, arresting Richard de Carvalho “Ricky D” (9-10-82).

de Carvalho was charged with:
Criminally Negligent Homicide in violation of Connecticut General Statute 53a-58
Assault 3rd in violation of Connecticut General Statute 53a-61
Breach of Peace 2nd degree in violation of Connecticut General Statute 53a-181.
Bond set at $500,000
