(Nov. 12, 2015) – Today, the Bridgeport Police Department announced the arrest of a man for several motor vehicle infractions and criminal acts, including possession of a dangerous weapon and possession of narcotics. On Monday, November 9, police officers observed the operator of a vehicle failing to stop at the intersection of Benham Ave. and Coleman St., followed by taking an abrupt turn onto Benham Ave. heading west. While travelling down Benham Ave., the vehicle was swerving in and out of lanes, and nearly struck approximately six properly parked vehicles.
