Bridgeport News: Firearm Incident

#Bridgeport, Conn. (November 10, 2015) – The Bridgeport Police Department announced the arrest of three people that were part of an incident involving a firearm.  Around 2:00 a.m. on Friday, November 7, police officers responded to a call regarding three Hispanic males who were threatening patrons at an establishment – one of whom was flashing a firearm – near the corner of Madison Ave. and Morgan Ave. Upon arrival on scene, police officers were notified that the suspects fled the establishment on foot toward a parked car, which was believed to be owned by the suspect carrying a firearm. The suspect holding the firearm was also believed to be wearing khaki shorts. The three suspects were later seen on the side of a…

Bridgeport Police Department Arrests Roommates for Disorderly Conduct, Threatening

#Bridgeport, Conn. (Nov. 12, 2015) – The Bridgeport Police Department announced that two roommates have been arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and threatening in the 2nd degree.  On Monday, November 9, police officers were dispatched to an apartment near the corner of Shelton St. and Pembroke St. after it was reported that a roommate had threatened another roommate with a knife.  When police officers arrived, they entered the room of Jaime Feliciano from Bridgeport (DOB: 3/21/1978).   Upon entering Mr. Feliciano’s room, police officers witnessed him holding a spring loaded knife. Once police officers told Mr. Feliciano to put down the knife, he did immediately. Mr. Feliciano stated that he was renting a room from his roommate, Renzo Estuella from Bridgeport…

NFL: Press Release:  The safety of our fans, stadium personnel, and teams at all NFL games is our priority, and security at our games is robust. Our procedures have been certified and designated by the Department of Homeland Security since 2008 as effective anti-terrorism technology. All NFL clubs use mandatory metal detector screening and multiple layers of perimeter security external to the stadium to safeguard fans and the stadium from explosive threats.
