1:22pm--#Stratford CT-- #Bridgeport CT-- A plane's landing gear gave out during a landing at Sikorsky Airport causing it to run off landing strip #8 into the grassy area. The pilot and passenger were not injured. It was previously reported that the plane's 30 gallon of fuel leaked but that was not the case. The airport was shutdown during the incident.
UPDATE: Firefighters reporting pilot and passenger have NO injuries. There is approximately 30 gallons of fuel on the plane, no word on any leakage of the fuel. 1:22pm--#Stratford CT--#Bridgeport CT-- A plane has run off runway #8 and is on the grass area at Sikorsky Airport. 2:24am--#Bridgeport CT--A person was shot at Washington and West Avenue. The person was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital by private car with Bridgeport Police escorting them. Not a lot of details at this time. This report is made possible by:
1:44am--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters were called to 277 Dover Street for a report of flames and an alarm going off. Firefighters on scene reporting nothing visible from the street.
