#Bridgeport CT–Barnum School started off with a flash dance in the morning a flash electrical fire by the morning.  The school was evacuated, I’m sure most thought it was the first fire drill of the year but it was the real deal.   Firefighters were quick on the scene and located a smoke condition on the second floor.  The found the source to be a defective/melted electrical outlet.

My initial report was:

1:00pm–#UPDATE: Initial radio reports say a faulty electrical circuit on the 2nd floor.

12:50pm–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters on scene of Barnum School at 450 Waterview Avenue for a odor of smoke inside the school.
