Bridgeport, Conn. (August 5, 2015) – This week, Bridgeport Police responded to a robbery with a firearm at 132 Arthur Street. Police arrived at the scene on Monday morning at 4:44 a.m. The victim – a 25 year-old female from Stratford – stated that she was dropping her son off at her mother’s house. After pulling into the driveway, the suspect came up to the driver’s side door and demanded the victim give up her purse. The victim gave up her purse and the suspect fled the scene. The victim’s purse and items within were later recovered – except for approximately $60 in cash. The suspect was described as a 5’9” black male wearing a black mask, a black sweater, and black sweatpants.
