Bridgeport News: Car NOT Shot At As First Thought

5:52pm--#cttraffic--#Bridgeport CT--State Police are out with a car on Fairfield Avenue near Joseph's Steakhouse that says she was shot at while on the highway.  State Police told me it was just road debris not a gunshot as first thought by the driver.  You can see in the picture the window is smashed but no entry or exit hole in the window.  The woman was shaken up and EMS was called to check her out.

Shortly after the initial  dispatch to responding units, the communications center started to receive additional calls reporting that a person had a gun. Bridgeport News: Motorcycle Hits Police Car

8:03pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police were in a brief pursuit from East Main and Arctic area to Boston Avenue after the motorcyclist hits a police car in the door.  The pursuit ended when police lost him in the Boston Avenue area.  An officer on patrol spotted the bike a short time later going about 100 mph but did not attempt to pursue.    Police found the bike, a blue Suzuki abandoned near the CVS.   This report sponsored by:
