The Mortgage Crisis Job Training Program (MCJTP), a WorkPlace opportunity, is conducting a free Resource Clinic for Connecticut residents who are struggling to pay their mortgages or are facing foreclosure. Connecticut has the eighth highest rate of foreclosure filings in the nation, according to the latest monthly report from California-based RealtyTrac. This timely event will introduce participants to the numerous programs available to them. 7:18pm--#Bridgeport CT--A black 4 door sedan with tinted window pulled up to a male in front of the bodega on Park Street, called the victim by name and opened fire. The victim was hit and went to his uncle's house in the 700 block of Arctic Street who then called police and EMS. The victim is not cooperating with police according to radio reports. It is unknown the extent of the victims injuries. 3:12pm--#Stratford CT--At least 5 students from Flood Middle School were transported to the hospital after some sort of spray was released on the school bus. Students told me that it didn't have any smell but students began coughing. Assistant Fire Chief John Conway told me that five students were transported to Bridgeport Hospital with eye and throat irritations. Police have not identified the student the released the spray but they are investigating.
