Milford News: Fire Systems Prevent CT Post Mall Fire

11:30pm--#Milford CT--Firefighters were called to an activated fire alarm at the Connecticut Post Mall at 1201 Boston Post Road.  The first alarm they discovered at a store at called Route 21, a water flow alarm.  Firefighters discovered the sprinkler system was activated.  After further investigation they discovered there was a stove fire at Carrabba's which caused the sprinkler systems to activate and put out the fire.   This report sponsored by:

Stratford Police Need Your Help

#Stratford CT--On Wednesday, March 11th a shoplifting occurred at the Stop&Shop located on East Main Street in Stratford. The suspect fled the scene and led officers on a short pursuit which was terminated. The suspect is pictured below and this department is looking for help in identifying the person of interest. He is described as a white male, in his 40’s. He was last seen wearing kaki pants and a blue/white checkered shirt. He left the scene driving a late model Chevrolet pickup truck. The truck was green in color but the driver side door was discolored. The license plate displayed on the truck, CT 2424DA was a stolen license plate. UPDATE: Delays in getting the key a hatch coupled with delays securing power causing firefighters "LEO"alarms to go off.  Firefighters are masking up according to radio reports. UPDATE: This could have the store closed for a while.
