Stratord News: Child Porn Arrest

On 03-11-2015 investigators working in conjunction with Pennsylvania State Police concluded an investigation into alleged child pornography. During the investigation Stratford Police Investigators determined that John Cotto, age 23 of Stratford was in possession of child pornography. The investigation determined that the files were intentionally sought out and stored on a computer owned by Cotto. The investigation started after investigators from the Pennsylvania State Police attempted to serve a search warrant for Cotto in their state but learned that Cotto moved back to Stratford just prior to the warrant service. Investigators picked up the investigation locally and an arrest warrant was subsequently applied for and approved. Cotto was processed and subsequently released on bond and is scheduled to appear in court on 03-18-2015.

First Alert Apparently Violating Do Not Call List

Have you received that call?  This is not a sales call but a friend of yours recommended we call you.  I have AGAIN even though my phone is on the Do Not Call registry.  It was from First Alert Security.  I pressed 1 to speak to the representative and told her if she doesn't take me off their call list that I was going to report them.  Crystal, the phone representative said she will promptly take me off their list.  Shouldn't have been there in the first place.  I'm certain no one told them to call me.

Bridgeport News: 63 Pets Removed From Goddard Ave. Home

#Bridgeport CT-- Earlier this week police were called to a Goddard Avenue home for a person deceased in the home.  Police had discovered a large amount of animals in the home and removed 12 pets, dogs and cats from the home.  Today they returned with detectives, DCF and Animal Control and removed another 63 pets, dogs and cats from the home.  They also brought the remaining resident to the hospital for evaluation.  I intentionally left the house number out of the report for privacy of the resident.   This report sponsored by:

Fairfield News: 90 Year Old Man Found Unresponsive Dies

UPDATE: Sad to report the man who was found by his friend under his pickup truck has died.  CTPost has a touching story about his fate here: http://www.ctpost.com/news/article/Elderly-man-found-unresponsive-under-truck-6130120.php #Fairfield CT--Just before noon Fairfield police and firefighters were called to 3800 Black Rock Turnpike for an approximately 90 year old man unresponsive underneath his pickup truck in his garage. Assistant Fire Chief Scott Bisson told me he was not pinned under the truck but he was bleeding from the head.
